Ending Hunger in Africa

The Hunger Project New Zealand invites you to an inspiring evening of conversation and networking about the exciting role you could play in ending world hunger. Our speakers, Robert Banks, Board Trustee and philanthropist, Millie Allbon, THPNZ CEO, and a Q & A panel of people who recently witnessed the end hunger in one of THP’s program countries, will share with you how millions of people are transforming their lives from aid dependency to self-reliance in Africa. If you are interested in finding out how you can catalyse change for good, leave a lasting legacy, global citizenship - or if you simply want to be inspired by what is possible for all of humanity - then this event is for you.

THE GREATEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE TO ANY HUMAN BEING IS SELF-RELIANCE AND DIGNITY

The Hunger Project’s goal is to end world hunger by 2030. Our approach is different – we see people living in hunger as the solution, not the problem. We shift the mindsets of women and men so they transform into leaders for the sustainable end of hunger. Then we empower people with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to break the poverty cycle themselves. Our work starts with women as key change agents, whose voices call for transformation and for the end of hunger in their villages.
